Final Video: Development- Screen Shots

These are my images for my development of my final animation. I have added the individual rotation of the Spheres through levels 4 to 16, which look very aesthetically pleasing. Also through levelss 17 to 24 I have added a colour changing field to them, as the viewer approaches the end.

Design Ideas and Intentions in 100 Words

The idea of my design is based on the images I found of the rainbow spiral effects. I really liked the aesthetic look of them and wanted to incorporate them into my own tunnel design. The tunnel that I have designed is made out of Cone-Spiked Spheres; which was my original concept idea to represent the theme of contrast. Through the use of repetition I have developed my concept into a very intricate tunnel, made out of 80 Cone-Spiked spheres.
I would like the spikes in my system to be rotating about the circles, all the way down the tunnel. Along with this the individual prisms will shoot out across the middle of the tunnel. Finally I want the rings of circles to be rotating about the centre of the tunnel itself. This will create a mass spiral effect whilst the viewer travels through the tunnel.

These are some futher deep Exploration Views using the CAD lighting effect and also with the addition of a lighting background source. I have also changed the shading of the colours of my objects so that they better relfect the lighting. The cones on the spheres are now not as edgy as they were before, but still a little more refinement could be done to make this look more aesthetically pleasing.

Refined Deep Exploration Views

These are my Deep Exploration views using the Ray Tracer setting. As you can see they are a lot brighter in colour and there are no traces of blur/fuzz. However I will need to address the smoothness of my objects to cut out the edginess of them. Also the little cylinders which have random black spots on them need to be refined
